Extra Date Set for Holiday Lunches at Victorian Christmas

 

By popular demand an extra date has been scheduled for public lunches at Mainstreet Piqua’s Victorian Christmas event.  Originally two dates, Thursday, November 30 and Tuesday, December 5 had been set aside for anyone who wanted to attend a lunch at the event but now a third date, Tuesday, November 28th has been added.  “A Victorian Christmas Card” is the theme of the event scheduled for the 2nd floor of Apple Tree Gallery, 405 N. Main Street Tuesday, November 28th through Sunday, December 10.  Victorian Christmas is a unique collection of breathtaking holiday displays assembled by businesses, private collectors and area florists. 

Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The cost of the lunch will be $10 per person but prior reservations must be made.  The menu features a choice of either ham or chicken Cordon Bleu with Hollandaise Sauce.  Side dishes include apple salad, broccoli salad and potato cheese soup.  Desserts are gingerbread cake with whipped cream or pecan pie.  A selection of drinks including holiday punch, iced tea and coffee will be provided. 

A limited number of registrations are still available for all three dates; Tuesday, November 28th, Thursday, November 30th or Tuesday, December 6th, and those wishing to make a reservation may call Mainstreet Piqua at 773-9355.  Due to space limitations each lunch will be limited to 30 diners.  Groups of 15 or more, who would like to reserve the Victorian Christmas venue for a private lunch, may also call Mainstreet Piqua.
