Parade Participants Invited to Trick Or Treat

The Mainstreet Piqua organization and the downtown Piqua merchants invite all the participants in the annual Kiwanis Halloween parade to come and trick or treat on Main Street prior to the annual Kiwanis Parade on Wednesday, October 25.

From 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. all those merchants with “Halloween stakes” directly in front of their business invite all the costumed Halloween Parade participants to come in for a Halloween treat.

The downtown merchants will be handing out candy from 5 to 6 p.m., allowing the costumed parade participants to make it over to the judging area prior to the parade.  Main Street Piqua businesses already signed up to participate include Uniforms Plus, Roberta Roberts, LPA, Lighthouse Café, Pat & Bob’s Lamp Shop, Miami Valley Collectibles, Papa John’s Pizza, Edward Jones, Rocket Cleaners, Miami County AAA, Morris Heating & Cooling and IAM Appliances.  Questions about the downtown Trick or Treat may be directed to Mainstreet Piqua at 773-9355.

The Kiwanis Halloween Parade will start at the intersection of Main and Market Streets at 7 p.m.  It will go north on Main Street to Ash Street, west on Ash Street to Wayne Street, south on Wayne Street to High Street and west on High Street to the YMCA where the prizes will be awarded.
