Downtown Merchants to Take a "Walk About"

 

The topic of the Downtown Piqua Merchants Meeting, to be held this Thursday November 16, is always a popular one!  The merchants meeting will be a “Walk About” throughout the downtown to give business owners in attendance a chance to show of their own businesses while learning about what other businesses have to offer.

"These business owners and their employees are so busy taking care of their own business it is often difficult for them to know what their fellow downtown businesses are offering." Says Lorna Swisher, Executive Director of Mainstreet Piqua. "This downtown Walk About will give each business owner the opportunity to talk briefly about their business and what new goods or services they are offering." Says Swisher.  The information will also allow downtown businesses to be able to better promote each other because they have an understanding of what is being offered in the businesses around them.

The merchants will meet in the boardroom at the Mainstreet Piqua office, 326 N. Main Street, starting at 8:30 a.m. The meeting is absolutely free and open to all downtown business owners and employees, as well as any other interested individuals.
