A Victorian Christmas presents “A Victorian Christmas Card”A delightful evening of delicious desserts and great fun is planned for the preview party of Mainstreet Piqua’s annual Victorian Christmas. This annual event features beautiful holiday displays put together by area artists, florists, interior designers, merchants and individuals. The theme this year is “A Victorian Christmas Card” and will feature more than twenty-five different exhibitors. The preview party will be Monday, November 27 from 7 – 9 p.m. The Victorian Christmas event is housed on the second floor of Apple Tree Gallery, 405 N. Main Street. The Miami Valley Woodwind Quintet will be providing holiday music during the evening. This year’s theme has the participating exhibitors very inspired and as a result the displays promise to be wonderfully diverse and exciting. Visitors will see fantastically decorated trees, collections of Santa Clauses and carolers as well as beautiful festive settings. A number of private collectors, as well as Piqua area businesses, are participating in this event. The tickets to the Victorian Christmas Preview Party are $10 per person and preview party visitors will have the opportunity to get a first look at the exquisite displays as well as bid on silent auction items donated by various exhibitors. Victorian Christmas displays will be open free to the public November 28th through Sunday, December 10th. The exhibits will be open to the public from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. each weekday and Noon to 4 p.m. on weekends. The displays will also be open during Christmas on the Green, Friday, December 1 from 6 – 9 p.m. Victorian Christmas is sponsored by the Miami Valley Centre Mall.
